Well, I think it's very clear that GenG is just a fundamentally weaker team than they were this time last year pretty much in every role - they are definitely not back at all. Their entire win condition today was just having better drafts. Once they had an even draft in game 2,they struggled significantly in lane and in teamfights. In game 1 and 3, DK just refused to draft any damage. Seriously, Jayce, Lee Sin, Annie, and Lucian into Sion, Xin Zhao, and Ryze? One would think you'd have learned your lesson by game 3, but you draft full scaling and losing lanes everywhere but mid. You made for such a fundamentally easy game 3 for GenG, they barely had to go off script at all - you just...gave them a free, easy win for zero reason. Whoever does your drafting is bad at their job.
