Im aware IMT is historically one of the lower placing teams in the history of the LCS, but please let me make my case. 1. Their content was often more than just "toast reacts" or comms vids. I appreciate the Documentaries but its not at the same level. 2. IMT had better roster construction for splits than DSG. Better coaching staff, better "veterans" that they brought on AND got close to winning the league in 2016-2017. A team that was leaded by the likes of Inero, Parth, and hell even Sharkz wouldve been bound for success given another split. The community often times was harsher on them than the rest of the league by far given the ownerships decisions mirrored Dignitaslow 3. It helps having a unanimous bad team in the League if you are a Flyfan/TL/SR fan (big 3) 4. The org, believe it or not, did a lot of outreach and community building in 2020-2024 before they are exit and I haven't seen that dedication from DSG. We need a 100T back not mickey mouse streamers.
NA looks kinda dead to be honest... bad viewership, no impressive team, no local talent (lost jojo, busio...). I think it is not a question of dsg or immortals, it is more about a global restructuration.
I will agree its in a sad state, but internal restructuring is the first step. When NA had Challengers and Academy supported at once. 2021-23 we had the most growth in terms of teams doing well internationally than we ever had. Riot hands off TO responsibilities to third party vendors that dont support the system while constantly changing the 1st tier. I prefer a Americas structure like in Valorant.
THIS is an LCS thread for the better region. I love KC as my aunt is from France, but even you must admit you only get success by taking the best of America.
last point. DSG as an org will be a blip on the map when NRG ascends and frankly the fact they are still in with piss poor results is a stain on league management.
