Riot Games released “Know My Name” on 9 October, one week before Worlds 2026 begin. The 13th Worlds anthem marks True Damage’s comeback and the first time one of Riot’s virtual artists perform it. The video follows Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok through his six titles, up to T1’s three-peat. Here is what it shows, and every reference hidden in it, from the first shot to the last.
What the video shows
The video opens on a defeat. Faker falls in the 2017 final, and the story rewinds to the three titles that came before it: 2013, 2015 and 2016.
Then comes the drought. Faker walks alone while the emblems of other world champions appear behind him, starting with Samsung Galaxy.
The tone shifts when Lee “Gumayusi” Min-hyeong, Ryu “Keria” Min-seok, Mun “Oner” Hyeon-jun and Choi “Zeus” Woo-je join him. The Z(D)OFGK roster carry the second half of the video, through the 2022 heartbreak and up to the three-peat sealed against KT Rolster last year.
