DN Soopers have parted ways with head coach Joo "oDin" Young-dal, the organization confirmed on X this Tuesday. Yoo "Ggoong" Byung-jun will step in as interim head coach.
oDin had been with the team since 2023, first as secretary general and then as head coach.
I am parting ways with the team to take responsibility as a coach for the unfavorable results,
he said in the team's statement, thanking the players and the fans on his way out.
The exit comes with the Soopers — formerly DN Freecs — in the worst stretch of their LCK history. They sit at 1-13, with their only series win of the regular season coming against Kiwoom DRX in their first match. They have not won a single game since, a 26-game losing streak that is now the longest in LCK history.
