South Korean esports organization Dplus Kia, 2020 World Champions, has announced a partnership with Nutri D-DAY, a Korean SME and subsidiary of The Bagel Co., specializing in dietary supplements and nutritional health.
Nutri D-DAY, a brand offering slimming supplements and kombucha drinks, provides products certified by the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety. Previously active in traditional sports sponsorship (notably football and baseball), the brand is now extending its reach into esports through this deal.
The partnership was designed around the specific needs of professional players, who are subject to long training hours and intense concentration.
Kim Hyung-dae, CEO of Nutri D-DAY, emphasized his desire to provide "concrete support to the players" and to build a partnership that "goes beyond simple sponsoring by bringing enjoyment to the fans."
A first activation will take shape through a fan event planned as early as April, followed by co-branded product launches in the medium term.
The brand joins Dplus Kia's extensive list of partners, alongside Kia, Logitech, SOOP, Crocs and AndaSeat. This partnership is part of a growing trend toward integrating wellness and health into the Korean esports ecosystem, alongside the more traditional technology and furniture partners.
