DRX will host the first-ever official LCK matches on Vietnamese soil on May 8 and 10, 2026, at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC) in Hanoi.
As part of LCK Rounds 1–2 of the 2026 regular season, the team will face Gen.G Esports on May 8, followed by Hanwha Life Esports on May 10. Early bird tickets go on sale on March 9 at 6:00 PM (GMT+7) on and the V-app.
The addition of Hanwha Life Esports to the lineup makes the event even more compelling for fans. HLE pulled off one of the biggest signings of the offseason, landing ADC Gumayusi — Worlds 2025 Finals MVP — who left T1 after five years.
In the jungle, the retirement of Peanut for mandatory military service was answered with the signing of Kanavi, a dominant force in the LPL with JD Gaming and Top Esports, now making his long-awaited LCK debut.
The rest of the roster retains its proven core: Zeus in the top lane, Zeka at mid, and Delight as support. With a lineup of this caliber, HLE enters 2026 as one of the most dangerous teams in the league, hungry to go one step further after losing the LCK 2025 finals to Gen.G.
The event draws inspiration from the "Home Ground" format pioneered by T1, whose 2025 edition at Inspire Arena drew over 30,000 fans, and who will be hosting two more Home Ground events in 2026, at Inspire Arena from April 24–26 and KSPO Dome from August 14–16.
For DRX, the strategic dimension is equally strong: the organization is banking on Vietnamese ADC LazyFeel, the only non-Korean player in the LCK, to build a lasting connection with a country that already ranks as the league's third-largest international audience, behind China and the English-language broadcast.
LCK Home Ground and LEC Roadtrips are the future of LoL esports leagues. OWL also tried this homestand model before, and it was moderately successful.
