Following Caedrel's announcement of Los Ratones' disbandment after LEC Versus, the players seemed set to go their separate ways due to a lack of clear opportunities. It was ultimately the overhaul of the EMEA Masters format now tied to an Esports World Cup qualification pathway that allowed the group to stay together.
The roster is built around Bwipo in the toplane, replacing who has definitively stepped away from professional play, alongside in the jungle, in the mid lane, as ADC, and at support. Notably, Bwipo, Nemesis and Rekkles are no strangers to each other. The trio previously played together at , where they were part of one of Europe's most iconic rosters, reaching the 2019 and 2020 World Championship. The coaching staff from LEC Versus also returns, with YamatoCannon and Shaves joining the project.
