The logo and the iconic "ich liebe es" slogan will appear on both rosters' jerseys. McDonald's and G2 are also planning a year-long content series built around Niklot "Tolkin" Stüber, with a focus on behind-the-scenes access and player storytelling.
Formed in early 2026 through the partnership between G2 and NORD Esports, the academy structure made an immediate impact in its debut split, claiming the Prime League Winter title.

On the women's side, G2 Hel is back in action after a financial hiatus. The team had dominated the European women's LoL scene before being put on pause due to a lack of funding. Its return to Game Changers — the circuit Riot is pushing as a development pathway for pro female players — reflects G2's stated ambition to put women's representation back at the heart of its competitive project.

An announcement video produced by G2, featuring Jankos, Sola, Tolkin, Caltys and the NORD roster, accompanies the launch of the collaboration. Agency Scholz & Friends led the creative side on behalf of McDonald's.
