Hanwha Life Esports have secured Korea's third Esports World Cup 2026 slot, sweeping Dplus KIA 3-0 in the lower bracket final of the EWC Korea Qualifier on May 26. The series capped off two days of stage matches held at the SOOP Colosseum, with the final stretch of the qualifier brought into the small arena rather than the standard online environment.
HLE join T1, who qualified the day before with a 3-1 win over Dplus in the upper bracket final, as well as Gen.G, who skipped the qualifier entirely as the defending EWC LoL champions and entered the 2026 main event automatically.
