Back in LFL with Ici Japon Corp after a year in GIANTX Pride in LVP, top laner Lucas "Badlulu" Piochaud sat down with RFT.GG to talk through a frustrating start to 2026 — a failed Invitational, an inconsistent 6th-place Spring, the tank duty cramping his carry instincts, his read on the French top lane pecking order, and the very specific LEC comparison fuelling his ambition.

A mixed start for Ici Japon Corp — a failed Invitational and a 6th-place Spring. How are you living through this start to the year?

Tough, of course. The Invitational format is very punishing — a bit of a coinflip — and in the end we didn't play that many games, so it's hard to draw much from it. On Spring, it's a bit of the same problem: we're too flippy at times. We have games where we play really well and others much less so, and that irregularity is what costs us. I still think we've shown good things for a young team. But if we want to go after something this year, we need to be more consistent.

You have a big rookie on the team with your jungler Kaboom. Are you trying to take on a guide role with him?
