Invictus Gaming announced on Weibo Wednesday that veteran support Tian "Meiko" Ye suffered an arm injury at home during the off-period — but the club expects him back within two weeks.
The injury happened when Meiko accidentally slipped and fell during the break. IG says it stepped in immediately and arranged diagnosis and treatment with medical specialists in Shanghai.
Doctors describe his condition as stable, with no major concern. The recovery window is roughly two weeks — short enough, the club says, that it won't disrupt his training or preparation ahead of LPL Split 3.
Meiko addressed fans himself.
The club has already arranged medical treatment for me, and I'm currently recovering. No need to worry, everyone.
A professional rehabilitation team has been assigned to oversee the process. IG added that it will share further updates as they come.
