Ibai and Kameto

Kamel "Kameto" Kebir has cancelled his appearance at the LEC's Madrid roadshow this weekend following an overnight Twitter war with Ibai Llanos. The Karmine Corp founder was due to fly to Spain at 6 AM on Saturday to costream his team's matches from the arena and headline a showmatch between Team Kameto and Team Ibai. He confirmed his withdrawal live on stream after Ibai repeatedly mocked Karmine Corp on X, branding them a "shit team" in a series of posts.

The LEC has since confirmed the 12:30 showmatch will still go ahead, but with a mystery team replacing Team Kameto. The fallout sets up an unusually charged MKOI vs Karmine Corp clash at around 7 PM, with the pride of two founders — and the two loudest/biggest fanbases in European League — on the line.

How it started

The night's drama kicked off with TraytonTV — the news and meme account of French content creator and costreamer Jean "Trayton" Medzadourian, an account known in France for its second-degree humour and self-mocking tone. The post piled on the criticism aimed at the close to-empty Madrid Arena during Friday's 4 PM Karmine Corp vs G2 Esports clash, a remake of the previous final.
