KT Rolster have announced that Jang "Ghost" Yong-jun is switching back to AD Carry. The move was confirmed on the organisation's social channels, but it is confined to the academy team — not a return to the main roster yet.
The veteran spent roughly ten years as an AD Carry before the switch. He won the 2020 World Championship with DAMWON Gaming in that role — the high point of a long career. When he joined KT Rolster for 2026, he did so as a support, sharing the position in a rotating pairing rather than starting outright.
That plan had already moved on. Lee "Effort" Sang-ho took over support duties from Ghost during Spring, which left the former world champion out of the starting five. The Challengers League run hands him a way back into competitive games in his original role.
