BNK FearX are still alive. They eliminated Nongshim RedForce 3-1 in the LCK Play-In and will face Hanjin BRION tomorrow, with the final playoffs spot on the line.

The series also carried a personal edge. Kim "Taeyoon" Tae-yoon faced the team that cut him loose mid-season to sign Nam "Diable" Dae-geun, who was available on the market at the time. The botlaner delivered his answer in game four with a massive Kalista performance to close out the series — then celebrated with a sleeping pose and a "get out" gesture to the camera.
He did not leave much room for interpretation afterwards saying in his postmatch interview:
For Nongshim RedForce, the defeat brings the year to a complete end. They finish 8th, one spot short of the Demacia Cup window — the LCK's three invitations go to the teams ranked 5th to 7th.
