Karmine Corp entered the semifinal of the lower bracket with no room left for error against GIANTX. A spot in the lower bracket final was on the line, while GIANTX needed the upset to keep their playoff run alive. The series never really gave them a way in, KC taking control of the map and refusing to let the BO5 slip into total chaos. Karmine Corp sealed a clean 3-0, with leading from the jungle to keep their hope for a ticket to MSI and the grand final alive. Here are RFT's editorial ratings of the series.

Lane stability was the running thread of Canna's series — weakside or not, the matchup never broke him. Whether it was the clutch teamfight turnaround on Gnar in game one or the string of decisive Sion ultimate engages in game three, he kept finding the moment the team needed, with a stable game two giving KC the platform to operate elsewhere. Three different demands across the series, three clean answers from the top side.

The standout of the series and the player who set KC's tempo when it mattered most. Whether it was a Vi rebound in game one after a rough early alongside the rest of the team, the kind of jungle-support synergy with Busio that built cross-map pressure GIANTX could never solve, or the Lee Sin masterclass in game three that bordered on clinical from start to finish, Yike kept finding the version of himself the series needed. The mechanical showcase across that final game — fight after fight built around in-and-out positioning — left no doubt where the series' MVP debate ends.

A shaky start that turned into a strong finish. Game one was a mess for kyeahoo — a misclicked flash, an abused lane phase, and a 0/2 stat line at 15 minutes — before he produced the key teamfight that helped close out the comeback. Games two and three were the cleaner picture: taking the right resources in tight bot-side fights to flip game two, then a solokill on Jackies and consistent teamfight presence in game three. Lost the first impression, won the rest.

Caliste outclassed Noah from the first 2v2 to the last teamfight — a head-to-head mismatch that defined the bot side of the series. Trademark Ashe positioning in game one's teamfights, a sharp followup kill on Sivir in game two, and an ultra-dominant Lucian in game three with a single inconsequential midwave slip. Another series in a run of form that keeps getting better match by match.

Slow start, strong finish. Game one was tougher than usual, with Lot’s Olaf repeatedly targeting him at the start of fights and limiting his usual impact — an early catch only made things harder. But from game two onward, Busio looked exactly like the player KC needed: everywhere on the map, always linked with Yike, and constantly turning the jungle-support duo into the backbone of the BO5. In lane too, he completely outclassed the opposing bot lane, giving KC a constant edge from the 2v2 to the cross-map plays. His Lulu game was the clearest example, following up every engage and covering every invade from GIANTX.
