Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang made an esports organization his very first stop in Seoul, visiting T1's "Base Camp" Internet café near Hongik University this Friday to meet their League of Legends roster, including Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok.

An estimated 500 fans packed the venue, and Huang signed autographs and posed for photos before taking the stage. He praised Korea as the birthplace of esports and the place where modern spectator culture was born.

Korean gamers chose the best graphics processing units to win, and that was Nvidia,"

Huang said.

The meeting's highlight came when Huang held up a one-of-a-kind RTX 5090 signed by both himself and Faker. "Faker uses 5070, and this is the 5090," he said.

Huang then raffled the card off to a lucky fan in the crowd. When he asked the winner what GPU he plays on, the fan answered an RTX 2070. Huang laughed and called it "an antique of an antique," joking that Nvidia was making the 2070 back when he was still a child. The rest of the T1 squad then joined them for photos.
