The Korean organization inaugurates a complex of roughly 1,570 m² (about 16,900 sq ft) on October 3, a short walk from Sinnonhyeon Station. Gaming floor, shop, restaurant: T1 keeps monetizing its fanbase outside of competition.
After Hongdae and Busan, T1 is setting up in Gangnam. The club has announced the soft launch, on October 3, of its third T1 Base Camp, a "cultural" space located a two-minute walk from Sinnonhyeon Station in southern Seoul. The concept, dubbed "Capital of Dominion," is meant to showcase the club's trophy record while serving as a meeting point for fans, players, and influencers.
A high-end gaming floor
The heart of the venue remains a 24/7 PC bang, with private spaces sized for different groups (Focus Rooms, Duo Rooms, Team Boxes, an Arena), giant LED screens for viewing parties, a peripherals trial zone, and a T1 Racing area dedicated to F1 simulation, running on Samsung Odyssey monitors and Logitech equipment.
A Trophy Room traces the club's history, with handprints, jerseys, an audio zone and, for the first time, a kinetic art piece reproducing the signature pose of Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok.
"Hide on Bouche," a French-flavored wink
New to this third location: a premium restaurant, Hide on Bouche, whose menu is overseen by the chef in charge of the players' meals at T1 headquarters. The name plays on Faker's original handle, "Hide on bush," with a distinctly French "bouche" (mouth).
