Team WE officially announced Sunday the arrival of Peng "Tyrion" Junbin as their new starting jungler, following a disastrous start to LPL Split 2. The Xi'an-based org currently sits at a dismal 0-5, yet to pick up a single game won since the split kicked off.

According to Chinese insider 尧阿尧y (Yao-a-yao) on Weibo, Wang "Monki" Meng-Qi — signed in 2025 from EDG's academy and a cornerstone of the roster during WE's strong Split 2 run last year, when the team secured a top-4 finish — needs time to "recover his form and adjust his mental state." The jungler is stepping away from the starting line-up, though his departure isn't framed as permanent: the source explicitly mentions a possible return down the line.

A bet on youth from the organization, which is hoping to turn things around — and already set the potential foundations for the future.
