The 2026 World Championship runs from 15 October to 14 November across three American venues: the Riot Games Arena in Los Angeles for the Play-In Stage, the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen for the Swiss Stage and the first knockout rounds, then the Barclays Center in Brooklyn for the Grand Final. Nineteen teams will compete — four each from the LCK and LPL, three each from the LEC, LCS and LCP, plus two from CBLOL.
Both fourth seeds come out of Daejeon. Hanwha Life Esports beat Bilibili Gaming 3-2 in the MSI 2026 final, which earned the LCK an extra ticket and handed the LPL one as the runner-up region. China's fourth representative starts at the Play-In Stage.
