The 2026 Demacia Cup runs from 3 to 17 October, with an online Swiss group stage followed by knockouts on LAN at JD Gaming's home venue in Beijing. Twelve teams from six regions will compete for a ¥1,500,000 RMB prize pool (around $223,000), in the first edition of China's offseason classic as a global invitational.
Slot allocation was settled in Daejeon: MSI 2026 results determine how many invitations each region receives. As the top two regions, the LCK and LPL get three slots each, the LEC and LCS get two, while the LCP and CBLOL send one team apiece.
Invitations go to the highest-ranked teams that have not qualified for the 2026 World Championship, so most names will only be locked in once each region's Worlds seeds are decided. If a team declines, the invite passes to the next eligible one.
