A month after the dust-up between Kameto and Ibai over the Madrid roadshow, the bill has arrived. According to the EMEA Penalty Tracker, the LEC officially handed down a series of sanctions yesterday (June 2, 2026) against both organisations for "conduct unbecoming of an LEC team member."
The fines in detail:
- Movistar KOI — Warning + €5,000 fine
- Karmine Corp — Warning + €5,000 fine
- Jojopyun (Movistar KOI) — Warning + €2,000 fine
All three penalties run through June 1, 2027.
Who got fined — and who didn't
Caliste "Caliste" Henry-hennebert could have been fined for removing his headset in the middle of a game, but escaped sanction. On the other side, Joseph " wasn't so lucky: he picked up his €2,000 fine for declaring, between games and into the official LEC broadcast mic, "We're gonna f*ck KC so hard."
