Bilibili Gaming have signed Li "Flandre" Xuanjun. The world champion top laner joins on the last day of the LPL's Split 3 roster lock, twelve days after Anyone's Legend released him.
BLG have been without a first-choice top laner since 21 July, when Chen "" Ze-Bin announced . Academy player Yang "" Wen-Bo took the seat and has held it well, carrying BLG to the top of Group Ascend.
Flandre has been a free agent since 28 July, released by AL after Chen "Breathe" Chen took his starting spot. He arrives with a Worlds title from 2021 with EDward Gaming alongside Park "Viper" Do-hyeon. Five years on, the two share a roster again — this time with Flandre as the low-variance, weakside-comfortable top laner, close to the opposite of what BLG built around Bin.
The timing points at Worlds. Split 3 decides China's seeding, and BLG have gone into every international event this year with Bin as their first option.
Flandre is expected to make his debut on Wednesday 12 August, against JD Gaming.
