Two more LCK tickets to Worlds are punched. Gen.G swept KT Rolster 3-0 in the winners' bracket on Tuesday, a result that locks a top-three finish for them — and, by ricochet, secures T1's spot as well.

Gen.G's revenge over the team that ended their run in last year's Worlds semifinal was as clinical as it gets, with Kim "Canyon" Geon-bu securing the player of the match. The win sends them into the winners' final on September 5, with a direct Grand Final berth on the line. Even a defeat there would only drop them into the lower bracket final, meaning they can finish no lower than third.
