South Korea's League of Legends national team will get one final test before flying to the Asian Games. The Korea e-Sports Association (KeSPA) announced on Monday the Hanwha Life Invitational, a two-day evaluation event held on September 19 and 20 at the Busan Cinema Center, where the South Korean squad will face the United States on day one and Vietnam on day two — both in a BO5 (best-of-five) format.
The event is designed as a full-scale rehearsal. The matches will run on the same patch as the Asian Games, and the association intends to use this last public stage before departure to fine-tune everything a long series demands: mid-series adaptation, strategic adjustments and team cohesion. Around 2,400 seats will be available for fans, with partner activities planned on the outdoor plaza. Disney+ will broadcast the event exclusively worldwide, adding another League of Legends rendezvous to its South Korean slate after the KeSPA Cup, and continuing to follow the national team's journey after the official send-off ceremony.
Three teams, three realities
South Korea will field the squad selected for the Asian Games, making this their final competitive outing before the tournament. Vietnam are doing the same: their delegation is the one headed to Aichi-Nagoya, built around the Secret Whales core — Hizto first among them — alongside Pun, Kiaya, Dire, Eddie and Taki. For the freshly crowned , it doubles as a first taste of the LCK opposition they could meet again at Worlds.
