NAVI are quietly becoming one of the most consistent teams in the LEC. A 2-1 win over GIANTX puts them at 4-1, with only one loss on the regular season of Spring. Poby sat down with RFT.GG right after the series — talking about the importance of laning phase in midlane, his time at T1 replacing Faker, and the impact performance coaches have on him.
Two clean games, but what happened on Galio?
The draft was also good for us, but we just needed to communicate faster. They had a global with Kai'Sa, good engage — we needed to discuss the plan earlier. We were not doing that, that's why we lost game one.
In general NAVI feels very dependent on Rhilech to be in good conditions to win. But today you won with him on Skarner. Is that something you've been working on as a team?
I don't think Rhilech can carry only on Zaahen or Aatrox.
I saw him on Sejuani and Skarner, he is very good as well. He can play many roles.
Are you happy with the team gameplay so far?
Yeah, I'm really happy. And I'm really grateful for NAVI — especially my teammates, the coaching staff, and the performance coach. She helped me a lot. I'm really grateful.
