A selfless series from the toplaner. For the second straight match, BrokenBlade did not pick or play to win lane. That said, what he lacked in lane presence he more than made up for in teamfights. His Ornn was excellent — aggressive, always at the front, finding key plays. His Sion completely shut down the Jayce even in lane, before becoming a teamfight monster. Just one death across the entire series despite being put on tank duty throughout. Extremely impactful when it mattered, even on K'Santé with that insane fight around Elder Dragon.

Monstrous. Even in the one game where his team was getting snowballed on, SkewMond somehow managed to stay ahead of the gold curve against his counterpart. His Pantheon was razor-sharp in helping his team snowball, his Jarvan and Xin Zhao teamfighting was outstanding. Consistently the most reliable player on G2 across the entire tournament so far. He makes us start to believe that he can take down Canyon....

A mixed bag. His LeBlanc in game one was mechanically shaky, the level-one plan from BFX that targeted him seemed to shake his confidence for the rest of that game. Game two on Azir was worse — far too aggressive early, clicking forward too often, making questionable decisions and getting caught repeatedly. It seems like Asia's game plan against G2 is to focus Caps as a priority, and he needs to learn to play accordingly. But he redeemed himself with an excellent Zoe in game three that salvaged what was an otherwise below-par series. A reminder that even on an off day, Caps can still find the moment, as he even did in teamfights with his Azir Shuffles.

The star of the series. G2's entire game plan revolved around putting their botlane in winning positions, and Hans Sama delivered. His positioning and mechanics carried multiple teamfights — the soul fights on Ashe and Corki in particular were masterclasses of spacing and punishing overextensions. Got caught once or twice from being the permanent focus of BFX's engage, but that comes with being the primary carry. A statement series that proves when G2 commit to playing through bot, the results can actually follow.

Incredible across all three games. His early game with Hans was punishing from the very first level, exploiting BFX's level-one botlane plan perfectly. His Nami was clutch in ways you rarely see from the champion — teamfight spell usage that bordered on absurd. Did get caught a couple of times early by BFX's point-and-click dive composition with Nocturne and Rumble ultimate. The Seraphine game was also exceptional. Tremendous mechanically all along and found key clutch plays in all three games.
