After seven years, True Damage are back. League of Legends' virtual hip-hop collective will perform "Know My Name," the official anthem of the 2026 World Championship, Riot Games announced on September 29.
The track will be released on all major streaming platforms on Thursday, October 8 at 6:00 p.m. PT (Friday, October 9 at 3:00 a.m. CEST). The official music video will premiere at the same time on the League of Legends YouTube channel. It is already available to pre-save here.
This is the first time one of Riot's virtual artists has performed a Worlds anthem. The company previously worked with artists such as NewJeans, Linkin Park and G.E.M. "Know My Name" is the thirteenth Worlds anthem to date.
The collective brings together five in-game champions. Akali and Ekko are rappers, Qiyana is a vocalist and rapper, Senna is a vocalist and Yasuo is the DJ and producer. For this return, SOYEON of i-dle once again voices Akali. She is joined by Coco Jones as Senna, Vic Mensa as Ekko and Sofía Reyes as Qiyana.
True Damage will perform the anthem live at the Worlds 2026's Final Opening Ceremony. It will take place on November 14 at the Barclays Center in New York.
It is the collective's first release since "GIANTS" in 2019. That single has amassed over 230 million streams across all platforms.
Maria Egan, Global Head of Music at Riot Games, explained the choice. "The Worlds anthem is the music moment that League players look forward to the most each year, and with Worlds coming to New York this year, True Damage felt like the perfect artist to take on the anthem," she said. "Much like our host city, True Damage has always been about bringing together distinct voices, styles, and cultures to create something unique and bigger than the sum of its parts."
