The World Star Challengers Invitational runs from September 20 to October 2, bringing together sixteen Tier 2 teams from five regions plus the Asia Masters champion — the first global tournament ever staged for the next generation. Here is where qualification stands, region by region.
China is the first region with its full delegation locked in. The dedicated qualifier featured four LPL Academy teams (formerly LDL) and four City Heroes teams, with the Top 3 booking their tickets.
The Korean spots will go to the top three teams of the LCK Challengers season — excluding Dplus Challengers, already qualified through their Asia Masters title.
For the last EMEA spot, the Prime League champion — rewarded for the league's stronger results at previous EMEA Masters — waits in the deciding match for the winner of the tie between the TCL and LES champions.
The Brazilian ticket is already claimed, and the NACL champion will take the second spot. The third is expected to go to a LATAM representative, likely through the LRN/LRS circuit, though nothing has been confirmed.
The APAC delegation splits its three slots between the region's domestic circuits, going to the champions of the LJL (Japan), the PCS (Pacific) and the VCS (Vietnam).
Seeding into the three draw pools will be confirmed once all sixteen tickets are punched, ahead of the group draw.
