The Esports Awards head to Miami this November, a first for the city after the 2025 edition in Las Vegas. Four League of Legends names are on the ballot for Esports Personality of the Year, and one of them is up for three awards.

Marc "Caedrel" Lamont is nominated for Personality of the Year, Streamer of the Year and Content Creator of the Year. No other name on the ballot appears in all three. Alongside him in the personality category: Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok, Eefje "Sjokz" Depoortere and Kamel "Kameto" Kebir. Eight other names complete the category, among them Jynxzi, Ibai and Magnus Carlsen.

The same four, one year on

This is the second consecutive ceremony where those names carry the LoL flag, and last time they mostly went home empty-handed.

At the Decade Awards in 2025, Sjokz, Caedrel and Faker were all up for Personality of the Decade, which went to Nadeshot. Kameto was nominated for Streamer of the Decade, won by xQc. The one that landed was competitive: Faker was named Esports PC Player of the Decade.

The 2026 categories are annual rather than retrospective, which changes the odds. A decade award rewards a career; a yearly one rewards the last twelve months.

The rest of the ballot

Esports Content Group of the Year judges what an organisation publishes on its social channels rather than what it wins, which makes it the one category where a team's editors and social managers are the thing being voted on. G2 Esports, Karmine Corp, T1 and Team Vitality are among the twelve nominees.
