Karmine Corp remain unbeaten in BO3s this split after sweeping NAVI in front of their home crowd at the Arènes d'Évry-Courcouronnes. Caliste "Caliste" Henry-hennebert sat down with RFT.GG right after to talk about the crowd, the progression curve, and whether he sees a ceiling for this team.
On paper, NAVI was probably the most competitive match you'd play this weekend. Did you see it that way too?
Yes, I tend to agree. On paper it was the most competitive match — they're the team in the best shape right now, playing the best of the three teams we're facing this weekend.
Maybe it can get dangerous if Fnatic get back into shape over the rest of the weekend, but I'm not too worried.
It's been a while since you played in front of your fans — since last year actually. Was it special to find them again?
It's been a long time since I played with the fans behind me. I was really looking forward to it, I was very excited and I wanted to show that I like playing on stage with the fans. As a result I tried to play aggressive, I just wanted to make sure I could show the best level so that people would have a good time and be happy. I'll try to continue over the next two days.
