G2 Esports booked their 11th consecutive LEC final on Sunday and secured their seat at MSI 2026. The route went through Karmine Corp and a five-game upper bracket final against Movistar KOI — the tightest series of the weekend.
G2 opened the playoffs with a 3-1 win over Karmine Corp. KC's only win came in Game 1 — a comeback off the back of a sizeable G2 mid-game lead that slipped away. Game 3 was the mirror image, with G2 the side clawing back from behind to take the map.
The other two games were stomps. Game 2 ended with KC on zero kills.Game 4 was another one-sided affair. KC bled the early game in all four matches — and against a roster as practiced at converting tempo as G2's, that margin was non-negotiable.

Movistar KOI swept Team Vitality 3-0 to confirm what the regular season standings had been hiding. Vitality finished top of the table, but the playoff break appears to have cost the bees their rhythm. The gap between the top three and the rest of the LEC looked wider than the standings suggested.
Jojopyun was the central figure. Asked after the series why the scoreline was so lopsided, he traced it to the regular season MVP vote — won by Naak Nako — and the disappointment that followed:
It was personal.
The upper bracket final swung MKOI's way from the first map. Movistar KOI looked the more composed side early, while G2 overforced — Caps' Taliyah in Game 2 the clearest example of a play closing on a window that wasn't there.

G2 levelled the score. Game 5 went to the limit. MKOI were one push from ending the series at G2's nexus before the game pivoted on a single sequence: Labrov, on Soraka, landed a flash silence on Jojopyun's Azir. G2 took the pick on the Spanish side's carry and closed the BO5 from there.
The win sends G2 to the LEC final and to MSI 2026. MKOI drop to the lower bracket final, one series away from a rematch.
Karmine Corp and Vitality fight to stay alive. KC face NAVI on Saturday. Vitality face GIANTX on Sunday. The two winners meet on Monday. That survivor then faces MKOI in the lower bracket final. The winner of that series joins G2 in the grand final and claims the second LEC ticket to MSI 2026.
