Riot Games has confirmed that the 2026 LCK finals weekend will be held at the KSPO Dome in Seoul on September 12 and 13, with Korean terrestrial channel MBC carrying the final live for the second year running. The broadcaster has signed a two-year extension that keeps the LCK on free-to-air television until 2027. It is the clearest sign yet that Korea's domestic League of Legends scene is no longer treated as niche programming at home.
MBC became the first terrestrial channel in the country to air an LCK final when it broadcast the 2025 title match between Gen.G and Hanwha Life Esports. The scheduling of the rematch tells its own story: the 2026 final has again been placed on a Sunday at 2pm KST (7am CEST), a slot MBC internally labels "prime time" and normally reserves for KBO League baseball.

"MBC, which broadcast the 2025 LCK final live as the first terrestrial channel to do so, has now committed to the final until 2027, and I am grateful that this gives the LCK a chance to reach more fans," LCK Secretary General Lee Jung-hoon said.
Back to the KSPO Dome
Both the final qualifier on Saturday, September 12 and the final on Sunday, September 13 will take place at the KSPO Dome, in Olympic Park in the Songpa district of Seoul. The venue holds up to 15,000 people and already hosted the 2024 LCK Spring final, so it is familiar ground for Korean fans. Both matches start at 2pm KST, or 7am CEST for European viewers.
