An unreleased song credited to K/DA and titled WATCH ME has appeared in ASCAP's database. The filing adds to a handful of clues that have piled up this year, and together they point to something a good deal more solid than a rumour.
Is a new K/DA track on the way? Very probably. Will it be performed on the Worlds 2026 finals stage? Nobody knows yet, and Riot Games has announced nothing at this stage.
The find
ASCAP (the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) administers copyright for American songwriters and publishers. Registering a work there is a routine step, often completed well before any public announcement — which is exactly what makes these entries worth reading for anyone who knows how.
The WATCH ME entry lists K/DA as the sole performer and credits five songwriters:
- Felicia "Feli" Ferraro, well established in K-pop, with credits on "Run BTS" and LE SSERAFIM's "Unforgiven."
- Nija Charles, credited on Ariana Grande's "Positions," Lady Gaga's "Rain on Me" and Cardi B's "I Do," as well as on tracks for LISA (BLACKPINK), LE SSERAFIM and ILLIT.
- Ali Tamposi, co-writer of "Señorita" (Shawn Mendes), "Let Me Love You" (Justin Bieber) and "Havana" (Camila Cabello).
- Federico Vindver, who has worked with Coldplay and Kanye West.
- Sébastien Najand, composer at Riot Games (HEARTSTEEL, GODS, Legends Never Die…).
An XXL line-up that suggests a major release rather than a throwaway B-side. The entry says nothing, however, about who is voicing the group's four members (Ahri, Akali, Evelynn and Kai'Sa) — on that front, no information at all.
The backstory
The @LeagueOfLeaks account claimed on 1 July 2026 that K/DA would return in Season 3 of 2026 with new music and a range of skins. GoRanked added that audio files and skins were due to hit the PBE in the following weeks, without saying where that information came from. If accurate, it would match the launch pattern of 2018 and 2020 exactly, where music and cosmetics arrived together.
