JD Gaming are heading to São Paulo. This Saturday, JDG swept Weibo Gaming 3-0 in the LPL Lower Bracket Final to claim the last Chinese spot at First Stand 2026, joining Bilibili Gaming as the LPL's second representative.
Yu "JunJia" Chun-chia was named Player of the Match, posting a total KDA of 29 with an average of 68% kill participation and a +2,534 gold difference. With this qualification, he extends his record for the most international appearances among active players to eight.
Game three looked like it could slip away from JDG, but support Zhao "Vampire" Zhe-Can had other plans. His Seraphine ultimate caught three WBG players, turning the fight on its head and giving JDG the ace and a straight path to the Nexus to complete the sweep. Vampire earned Player of the Game honors for the decisive map.
The victory writes new milestones for the roster. Head coach Wong "Tabe" Pak-kan becomes the first coach in LPL history to lead four different teams to a final — RNG, BLG, AL, and now JDG. Meanwhile, mid laner Tsai "HongQ" Ming-Hong has qualified for every single international event since the start of his career — four in a row, all at just 18 years old.
The FST Draw Show airs this Sunday, following the LPL Final. Tomorrow's result will also carry implications for First Stand: the champion will be placed in a group with BNK FearX, while the runner-up will open against Gen.G.
