The LEC returns for its Summer Split on July 24, opening the most important stretch of the season with a road to Worlds that runs through Paris, Madrid and Nice.
The split spans nine weeks, from July 24 to September 20, with no mid-season break. It carries the same format fans know from Spring: BO3 (best-of-three) matches throughout the regular season, moving up to BO5s in the playoffs.
Format and schedule
Ten teams face off in a round-robin regular season, with the top six advancing to a double-elimination playoff bracket seeded by standings. The regular season runs from July 24 to August 30, with matches four days a week — Friday to Monday — outside of Roadtrip weekends.

The addition of a studio phase at the Riot Games Arena has given the LEC more scheduling flexibility, allowing for a longer regular season. Most days feature two BO3s, except for the final day, which packs in three.
Playoffs run from September 5 to 20. The surviving teams then head to the Palais Nikaia in Nice for the Summer Finals, a three-day event from September 18 to 20 that crowns the region's champion and decides the final Worlds seeds.
