We've already broken down what's at stake this weekend across the rest of the LoL world, with MSI tickets on the line in every major regions but the LCK. But the South Korean league is far from quiet — its own Road to MSI gauntlet kicks off this Saturday, with Dplus KIA facing Hanjin Brion at LCK Arena in Seoul. HLE, T1 and Gen.G are already waiting in Wonju; one of the three remaining sides — BRO, Dplus, or KT Rolster — will be joining them.

Dplus KIA enter as favourites against BRO. The fifth seed has been the LCK's most reliable killer of bottom-half teams this season, dropping virtually no series against the so-called "Eastern Division" sides — and they hold a 3-0 lead in head-to-head meetings against BRO across the 2026 LCK Cup and regular season. BRO, meanwhile, are the gauntlet's biggest unknown. A team that looked dead at 0-6 to start the split, they reeled off a club-record five-match win streak from Week 5 onwards and have shown they can take maps off mid-table sides — though four losses in their final five regular-season series have raised doubts about their current form.
